The Dub is not bad the sub is just way better....
If you have any complaints go watch this scene in sub, go watch I Am Atomic scene in sub you will know what I am talking about...
Again, the dub is not bad I am a dub watcher myself, most of the animes I watched were dubs... Just saying the sub is better....

nope, the jokes are funnier in English because we don't have to read them. plus, the scripts in Edubs are localized well beyond what subtitlers can do with plain text. for example, the line in 'Girlfriend X Girlfriend' S1 where one of the Edub talents says, "Monogamy is poggers!" just hilariously FITS the scene! another example, Hyoudou Issei of 'High School DxD'. counting the number of times his JVA Kaji Yuuki says the word OPPAI in 4 seasons is a MONUMENTAL task. whereas ALL the employees of Funimation were polled and provided as MANY slang terms for breasts as they could think of!

the acting is great on both sides and yet i still personally find i enjoy Edubs more than i enjoy Jdubs. because even after 30 years watching anime i still 'get' the emoting and tones and cadences of English better than i 'get' Japanese. also, around 80% of JVA have HORRID English pronunciation skills. often, ex-pats in Japan get dubbing jobs and foreign talents are remote recorded for 'non-Japanese roles'. Funimation's 'DubFromHome' technology developed during the COVID Confinement Crisis has been a key element world-wide to allow voiceover work to be done just about anywhere by anybody on any schedule.

i've found that the sub vs dub thing always boils down to one central issue, personal taste. there are lots and lots of JVA i enjoy hearing, and lots and lots more of Edub talents i love. don't try to 'convince' or 'convert' or 'tell' anybody anything on either side. just do what you do, let them do what they do, and don't claim 'superiority' of one language over the other.

I didn't say anything about the language and nor did I force my opinion on anyone. I completely agree with you that jokes on dub is much better.
It's my fault that I didn't make it clear in my original comment. What I meant to say is that the JP voice for I am atomic and the other ones are better than the dub *for this anime*. It's only an opinion and I in my original comment said to go watch the I am atomic and the gotcha scene in sub I didn't force anyone.

nonono! don't worry, your tone was just fine. but you should realize, the 'atomic' lines as well as the 'eye got you' were all engineered and tuned electronically in the Japanese version. whereas (at least to my ears and headphones) the English versions of those lines were only once altered with sound engineering and 'eye got you' wasn't one of those lines. so, i would say the original sound engineer should get the kudos instead of Yamashita Seiichirou Cid's JVA.
